When offered a grand promise for a seemingly small price, many more are likely to fall for it. Being human, the idea of paying very little for great return is incredibly enticing. This is the leading idea behind offers like “Earn $200 every day! Just $10 for access to our exclusive list of high paying surveys.”  When entering the arena of paid online surveys, it's important to be wary of any offer like this that seems too good to be true.
The companies and platforms that offer paid online surveys send you the earnings in a variety of ways. In general, you may either get actual money through a payment processor website like PayPal, an electronic or paper check or earn points that you can trade for gift cards and other valuable prizes. Most of the paid surveys sites have a minimum payout amount you must reach before they send you any money or gift cards.
Clixten is another amazing site which provides Paid to click ads and other promotional offers & tasks to earn money online. We can join either as a member or an advertiser. Return on Time: 3.5/5.0– Their payrate isn’t overwhelming- the average per hour hovers around $3. Depending on the user’s activity on the website, it can take anywhere from a couple of days to as long as a month just to earn CashCrate’s cash-out amount of $20. You certainly won’t be making top-dollar with this site, but despite their low pay they do pay their members consistently.
I tried a lot of these sites and I might have made 7 dollars in over a month. A couple of them said they are full and are not accepting new people right now ( not in those exact words) and most of the other ones give me a short survey then say “I’m sorry you did not qualify for this survey!” I feel like I’m to old, my kids are grown and they don’t need my opinion for anything!! :( .. ok lol that’s enough of my pity party.. does anyone know a survey site that accepts everyone!!
After joining a survey site, you provide some personal and demographic information, which legitimate survey sites will keep private. That information will be used in choosing participants to take surveys on certain goods and services. If you get selected to take part in a survey, you will be notified through mail to take a short survey to see if your profile suits that survey. When you are deemed qualified, you will be requested to take a longer survey.
Drop is another site that is a bit different than the rest of the sites listed here. Rather than helping you make money by taking surveys, this is an app that helps you earn cash rewards from your favorite brands. Simply download the app for your Apple or Android device. Connect the app to a valid credit or debit card, then use that card to earn cash back while you shop for groceries, clothes, and other merchandise. You’ll points you can convert into gift cards when you’re ready. Easy peasy!

Something unique that MyPoints offers that most other similar companies don't offer is the ability to earn cash back on some in-store purchases at select stores, along with their online paid surveys. Also, although their online store cashback rates aren't the highest in the industry (ironically, Swagbucks beats them on several offers), they do have special offers that other companies don't have, such as a bonus to sign up for Amazon Prime.

Hi Emma, thanks for the list! I’ve just started looking into online surveys as a way to make a bit of extra money. I signed up with Toluna, Opinion World, and Panel Station but so far I’ve not been able to complete any surveys. I’ve started more than a dozen across the three platforms but each time I get part way through a survey I get bumped out of it before completing. I’m wondering what your strike rate is for actually completing surveys you start? And how long did it take you to gain traction? I had read that it is a part of the game with online surveys but to have it happen every time is frustrating and ultimately a waste of time. Appreciate your feedback. Cheers

Unfortunately, there are a lot of paid surveys scams on the Internet today. It is far too easy to set up a quick website, create a survey, and claim to pay a large amount of money or hand out gift cards. These illegitimate websites limply want to get your personal information and email address for their own purposes. Some even tried to make you pay them money for the opportunity to earn. This is a serious red flag you should avoid completely.

Paid to click is a kind of online advertising similar to Pay per click advertising. But PTC is an incentivized promotion method while PPC is the standard advertising. In simple PTC advertising pays both the publishers(PTC sites) and the ad viewer(customer/members/you) but in the case of PPC advertising, only the publishers(site owners) will be paid for the ad clicks.

Swagbucks is increasing in popularity because it is one of the easiest of the best survey sites to earn points with. You can earn points for taking longer surveys, but there are also plenty of other good ways to earn points. You can earn points by answering simple questions, performing searches, doing your regular online shopping, and watching videos. There are even times when you are given freebie codes for free SBs that can be added to your total.
One of the larger market research groups, Valued Opinions offers points that can be converted to gift cards as compensation. While you might not see a lot of surveys, your odds of qualifying for the ones you do see are relatively high. The platform uses your profile information to help match you to opportunities, so you only see relevant paid surveys on your dashboard.
When brands want to find out what consumers think about their product and services, they turn to market research companies. Market research companies are the ones actually administering the surveys on behalf of the corporations looking for data/feedback. Think of online surveys as a type of focus group, except in this case, everything is done online.
Signing up was a breeze. I simply went to the page that said I would get a free $5 signup bonus and entered my email to get going. I had to answer a few basic questions — things like income level, race, education, and health questions. After a few minutes of answering questions and watching a couple tutorial videos on how the site works, I had $5 added to my account.
